Where We Service
Our Club's membership consists of people who live and work in and around Brant County. The majority of our club's fundraising dollars stay in this local community where we can ensure that people in Brantford and Brant County are directly benefited. Much of our donated funds go to benefit such organizations as The Boys and Girls Club, Lansdowne Children's Centre, and the W. Ross Macdonald School to name a few. We also support many other organizations and people in this community. You can find out more about what we do by exploring the many parts of this website.
More About Us
Our Rotary Club has the reputation of being one of the most active and successful clubs in our Rotary District. This reputation, of which we are very proud, has been gained by the"can, and will do" spirit of our club members. Our members are expected to participate, to the best of their ability, in club projects to accept and diligently perform duties reasonably requested of them.
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
- The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
- The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal business and community life;
- The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
As PROUD Rotarians in this community, we promise each and every citizen of this City that we will continue to do good work in this community to help all of those around us.
